Study of the behavior and durability of materials, as well as corrosion evaluation and anticorrosive protection, applied in technologies of renewable energy storage and conversion, namely in the solar and ocean energies. The projects are focused, among others, on extreme applications such as high temperatures (e.g. solar concentration technologies) or saline environments (e.g. offshore technologies).

Activity essentially developed in the LMR – Materials and Coatings Laboratory
