The event, to promote the potential of Angola’s mining sector, took place on November 20 and 21, 2019. The first International Mining Conference and Exhibition was organized by the Angolan Ministry of Mineral and Oil Resources in association with AME Trade UK.

The event was opened by the President of the Republic of Angola who praised the work being done in favor of knowledge of Angolan geology. The LNEG President moderated the session “Geological Potentialities of Angola” where the results of the consortium’s work, which LNEG is part of, were also praised by the President.
