The project addresses the conditions to favor SME participation in Public Procurement of Innovation (PPI) processes, taking into account the alignment with Smart Specialisation strategies.

Seeking more innovative procurement solutions can yield benefits for both public authorities and the private sector, as well as the wider society. The alignment with Smart Specialisation strategies enables the use of public procurement power and budgets to develop the competitive advantages of each region, materialising their objetives in terms of environment, circular economy, social responsibility, local development and Innovation.

The GREENIN project opens a dialogue between policy makers, procurers, suppliers and other stakeholder, acting as a facilitator, promoting knowledge, the establishment of partnerships and the exchange of experiences.
