O LNEG, enquanto membro do consórcio nacional da EEN-Portugal, responsável pela gestão de recursos e energia e sustentabilidade, coorganizou o Smart Cities’ Challenges 2023, que decorreu de 25 de outubro a 16 de novembro de 2023, em L’Hospitalet del Llobregat, Espanha.

The Smart Cities’ Challenges 2023 involves workshops, pitch sessions and Barcelona’s greatest networking:

Open Innovation Challenges: on 7-8/Nov., Catalonia stand will host demands for innovative solutions with top potential suppliers.

Open Innovation Pitch: on 8/Nov., pitch session in the Central Agora
with public entities presenting demands of Open Innovation Procurement.

Cities’ Challenges Workshops: on 9/Nov., Catalonia stand will match cities/
regions and private integrators around topics such as mobility, energy, security, interacting with potential solution providers. DEADLINE for Challenge owners extended to 22/Sept!

Cities’ Challenges Pitch: Following the 2022 edition, in partnership with the
Smart Cities Marketplace, cities/regions on 09/Nov., will present their upcoming projects in the Central Agora. DEADLINE for Challenge owners extended to 22/Sept!

Urban Transition Challenge: on 8/Nov., managed by the EU’s Smart Cities
Marketplace, it will identify cities, consortia, and investors, in need of support to accelerate and finance their smart and sustainable projects.

The Brokerage, B2B and B2G, this year will ONLY be online, prior to the SCEWC: Thursday 2 and Friday 3, from 0 to 24h. Cities, firms, research centers, and public institutions will be meeting for free.
